It was an old dream that finally came true: IP-Max opens its PoP in NIKHEF Housing in Amsterdam!
This new PoP completed a ring between Lille, Frankfurt and Paris and guarantees more connectivity and redundancy for our clients in Northwestern Europe.
It’s also of great honor for us to be represented in a place which contributed in formation of the Internet in Europe. Being a research partner of CERN (where IP-Max is present too since 2018), NIKHEF commits itself to playing a role in improving the infrastructure of the internet.
Today NIKHEF Housing is one of the largest Internet hubs in Europe, a meet-me-room which brings together more than 200 parties, including the largest Dutch Internet Exchange AMS-IX.
